After being regularly frustrated with the time every single page downloaded whilst I was surfing I came across a review of Netsonic....the bees knees apparently..... As trusting as always I setout to download the program and install it...... Well....my assessment after 2 months of using it......... it was pants!!! I know the version I received was free to download other than my time and effort....but it regularly froze on me and I had to reboot the computer nearly every occasion.....Needless to say I deleted the program......So that was the black cloud....where is the silverlining? Well that was with the accompaning program called GATOR....it is a cute ...  Read the complete review

I downloaded netsonic and even forked out the $29.99 for the pro version after reading all these opinions. To my horror It will not tie into my internet explorer and it just sits there a small bar that does not speed any thing up. I like the idea but I have spent the last two weeks in constant email communication with the co trying to get the damn thing to work. I am envious of you guys and wish it would work. I have to go now and send a zipped version to netsonic of my msconfig files so they can work out why Me and several hundred other people are not whizzing thru the ether with breath taking speed. ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Netsonic: Not so good after all (276 words)

Netsonic appeared on the outside to be a useful program, after all it claimed to speed up my internet connection. That itself is a myth, the physical speed of your connection remains the same. What it is supposed to do is read ahead and load into cache memory linked web pages to the one you are viewing thus making subsequent pages load more quickly. This is actually achieved by Netsonic and it does work well. It does what it claims in this respect but, and now for the crunch. It is prone to crashing your system, more so in Windows 98 & windows ME. I was plagued with blue screen crashes and Fatal Exception Errors after installing and using Netsonic. After much ...  Read the complete review

After reading mrsbbq,s opinion on netsonic i thought i,d give it a go,no harm in trying something that boosts my browsers speed. It took about 10 mins to download(3mb),and the set up was quite simple. You also get the online form filler GATOR with it,although i find this is a bit of a pain.Well it is speeding up my browser by up to 70%,brilliant for a site like dooyoo. It is simple to use and justs sits at the bottom of your screen, you can hardly notice it.It works by caching all your previously viewed webpages and then just refreshing what has changed on tha page youre viewing.Give it a try you wont be disapointed. You can download it for free from www.download.com. ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Netsonic not as brilliant now.... (208 words)

I downloaded netsonic some time ago to try and speed up the loading of my web pages and for quite a while I was really pleased with it. The pages loaded faster and I soon noticed if I forgot to click on it when I connected to the Internet. After a few months though I found that my computer was freezing very easily and that when I put up 'control alt delete' the webmain not responding was always netsonic. I decided to uninstall it and made do with the pages loading slower than when I had it. After some time I decided to download it again and for a while things were fine, then, you guessed it I had the same problem again. I uninstalled it yet again and am now ...  Read the complete review
