It’s hard finding unique ways to say this but I really hate it when programs install themselves into my clock tray, so when I add a program to the tray it really has to be worth having. Newmail is one such program. It’s a very simple little program that checks your email for you. Yeah, there are loads of programs that can do that but Newmail just does the job so much better. It can monitor any number of POP3 mailboxes (POP3 is what Freeserve, Lineone etc give you – Newmail won’t work with AOL, Hotmail or things like that) and do pretty much whatever you want when it finds new email.
