I've only just recently become an Odigo user, and I'm really impressed with it! Infact I'm currently debating whether or not to replace ICQ with it as my default IM program! Odigo's IM is basically an attractive, small, and skinnable (change the look, even create your own) program that allows you to find and chat to friends either by text, voice, and even send files and other normal IM things, but Odigo has things up it's sleeve that others don't! The main core feature of Odigo is that it turns the world wide web into a virtual world really. Think of each website as a different place in the world, and Odigo will scan for fellow users on ... I found the Odigo instant messenger on the Lineone homepage , they are using it as thier instant messenger, however it is not made by them, but a seperate download is available from www.odigo.com The messenger is so easy to use, it displays people in a window and you can click on thier user names and then view thier profiles. The messenger has a 'Wing' that extends from the left hand side of the main box, this allows you to narrow down your search by defining what age/gender/country and even county they should be from. For example you can choose an 80 year old female from outer mongolia i think if you really want. Plug-ins are ... Read the complete review

Odigo is a small programme, not so bulky as ICQ, for example, but its unique selling point is that it is compatible with ICQ, MS Messenger, Yahoo Messenger and AOL Messenger systems. This means that you can run all these systems simultaneously through Odigo, rather than having them run independently. This is particularly useful if, for example, you have friends on ICQ but you usually use AOL, or if you find ICQ is now too large a programme. The interface is quite easy to use, although it takes a bit of time to get used to, if it is a new system to you. The sound effects can be turned off quite easily (a bit plus for me!) and it allows for file ... Read the complete review

This messaging system is fun to use but it runs quite slow. I found it purely by chance while searching for different types of messaging software. Once you've download the programme from www.odigo.com it is easy to use but you do need to play around with it a bit to get the best out of it for yourself. The thing I like best about this is the sound when you open the programme. It says 'Odigo' but its rather like an echo. What you see is a circle with little people in it. Each little figure has its name beside it. That's how you know who's on. Click on the names to read the profiles. There are 'wings' that extend either side ... Read the complete review

Odigo is the best messaging system I have ever seen. It's easy to use has loads of features and is actually fun. The interface is great, it's extremely customisable and it is just a lot more enjoyable to use than any other messaging systems out there. There is only one problem with it. No one uses it. This alone makes the product practically useless. While ICQ, which is an inferior product, has millions of users, Odigo has none, and until that changes Odigo will never be able to compete. If you've got 5 minutes spare you should give it a try, but unless you can get your friends to use it too, you'll never really have a use for it, which ... Read the complete review
