Advantages: FREE AND GOOD

Disadvantages: NONE

I have read other opinions on the Pop Up Stoppers and I am not sure that mine is the same one as the other people have written about because it seems much less complicated and so much easier to use and is completely free.I went to download.com. I go there a lot to see what they have which may be of interest to me. I typed in POP UP STOPPER and there was a wide choice, although there was only one at the time that was free so I thought free is good. I can;t afford to spend a fortune on these things, so I pressed the button and downloaded it. Getting it to work was a doddle, just follow the set up instructions and maybe I am wrong, but I believe I had to restart the computer, and in the tool bar on the left hand side there is a hand with a finger pointing upwards as if warning pop ups to go away.It works great, never seems to get in the way of programs and touch wood has never given me a moments worry. The catch is that they want you to upgrade eventually to the paid item but why do you need to when this one works so well ???? If there are actually pop ups that you want to pop up yousimply press the control button and it allows the pop up, like when you are into internet banking or things like that. I am hopeless with new things, and this must have been one of the easiest programs I have ever used. I will not upgrade. It does what it says it does. Hope some of you get some use from it.

needs a lot more info, plus dont write too many reviews at once, it pisses the veterans off! anyway, aol has its own pop-up blocker which is very useful, i have a feeling telewest broadband is introducing one too. dooyoo popups still manage to find their way thru sometimes tho! >:o( . but anyway, make your reviews more dtailed in the future.
