Probe is yet another synthesizer which tries to emulate in software what was achieved decades ago in analog hardware synths such as the famous Moogs and later on the Roland TB303. The layout and features are more similar to a modular synth, with individual units such as LFOs (x2), oscillators (x3) and effects available for linking up to each other. Unlike other modular soft-synths such as Reaktor, Sync Modular and VAZ, Probe gives you a specific set of modules prearranged on-screen and lets you decide how to link them together to create your synth sound (patch).
