Ok I use this program everyday. This program is relatively easy to use. Navigation: Getting around is easy everything is labelled for you. You want to look at your suppliers, you click on supplier’s button, from here you can look at individual suppliers, what’s paid what’s outstanding. They same applies for customers. Sage Line 50 is a great accounts package, it is user friendly, and accountant friendly. The best feature of Line 50 is the fact that you can delete invoices, by selecting an invoice from the special menu then deleting it. You may think that this is not a good idea, but it hasn't really deleted it, it just flags it as deleted and removes it's effects from teh accounts. You can undelete it or find out details at anytime. This method is far better than counter entering. My father has been using this system now for over 8 years to do stock control for his business, in various versions. The system has handled the growth with him through time effortlessly. The feature list has grown more slowlyover the past few years so I'm not sure exactly what life this products development-cycle has left. Features-wise this will offer many if not all of the reports a standard manager might be needing on a day-toweek-month basis. Sage accounting software is simple to use but sophisticated enough to produce any report a manager might require. We have used Financial controller and Payroll for several years and it has met all our requirements and quite honestly I would say it helped with the growth of the business. Setting up the system, as with any accounts package, is the most difficult part. Here it is necessary to consult with auditors and everyone who will be involved with the system and the paperwork, particularly if stock control is used.
