A great photo editing and bitmap painting package for the graphic designer. This is a really professional programme but it is so easy to use.

PhotoPlus features let you import or create pictures and animations, and manipulate them with colours and special effects. There is also full TWAIN support which means that you can easily retrieve your own pictures from scanners and digital cameras, and manipulate them directly with Photo Plus 6. You can open almost any standard bitmap image.

The export optimizer will let you see exactly how your image will look before you save, or export it. This takes a lot of the guess work out of it and does away with those nasty suprises. Multi window displays give you WYSIWYG images using various settings and options so that you can choose which suits you best before saving the image.

The web animation tool integrates text and images into a web page. You can go back later and change things if you need to because the process is done in layers. (If images are stored as a single graphic you can't change it after storage.) For example, if you type in some text that then becomes part of an animation, and decide later that you want to change it, you can. (This is a real plus.)

Photoplus 6 offers professional output too. You can opt for CMYK colour separations, or print directly from your desktop printer. You can also opt for registration marks, file info, tile and scale facilities, or grey scale, plus lots of others.

This is an excellent package. It's easy to use and you don't need any special knowledge to use it. At the price I considered my purchase to be an excellent deal.
