I originally installed this to transfer movies to my PDA making them smaller and changing them from mkv file to wmv files.

FormatFactory basically converts pretty much any video format into pretty much any other video format so that you can place the media onto different devices etc... and reduce file size.
When converting to wmv for my PDA I decreased the screen size to decrease file size and hence I could put more onto my PDA for the trip to London I had planned with college.
Needless to say it works a treat. It converts all of my films with ease, I can customise their aspect ratio and hence their screen resolution so that it can be worse quality but take up less space on the media I store it onto, from my video Walkman to my hard drive and even my PDA.

I just love FormatFactory, it does the job and it does it well.
