Sonic Foundry are market leaders in home audio editing and creation. Offering an easy to use package, Sonic Foundry’s ACID Music is a great program for home enthusiasts.

With the availability of additional loops growing, ACID Music offers users an opportunity to translate music from the sounds in their head to real music, and it is the ease in which this can be done that has caused the success of this program.

Whilst the standard loops provided do not offer the user a lot to work with, the range of free loops available over the Internet allows massive expansion of this program.

I would recommend this program to most users as an interesting and amusing method of creating and editing songs, but if your looking for professional audio editing and creating solutions, I would consider a more extensive package, such as CakeWalk Pro
