Advantages: free

Disadvantages: filtering is poor, crashes

I have tried a number of anti spam tools including extensive testing with Spamnet. Unfortunately Spamnet has way too many issues and it detection rate is just not up to par compaired to a numer of other anti spam products out there.

Instead I am currently running Spam Inspector from Giant Company and am more then happy with its abilities and very easy and useful feature. Besides that fact that I no longer receive any spam with Spam Inspector, or much of it anyway, Spam Inspector has a dozen great features that Spamnet just does not such as biuncing messages and reporting spammers. Spam Inspector is highly recommended in my book.

With regard to SpamInspector and saying it is better than SpamNet. Ok i haven't had to reinstall it on a new hard drive and had the problems with customer service that one reviewer had but every program has it 's problems doesn't it? SpamInspector however is just a glorius pain in the bum. After installing it (after paying for it I hasten to add) in Outlook Express I couldn't see the images in emails and I couldn't set it up as I wished. All I wanted was for the system tray icon to stay when the email client wasn't running (so I remembered to disable it when I was installing programs) so I unticked the box in options as instructed to do but every time I started my computer again there the tick was and the icon disappeared on closing Outlook Express. I uninstalled it and told customer services to action a refund only to find out that the Returns system they have needs you to get a number from within a file in the program. As I'd uninstalled it I couldn't get it and emails to customer service were virtually ignored. I've not got my refund yet, or a reply to my email, seven days later.

Welcome to DooYoo!

Could have used more information - how to install, what systems it will work with, how much it cost, where to buy it, what it actually does, how it can be configured - That kind of thing. Look around the site to get ideas what to expect! Hope to see more from you!
