Cubasis VST (Virtual Studio Technology) is the cut-down version of Cubase, for midi sequencing and digital hard disk recording. I actually had Cubasis bundled with a new Creative Labs Soundblaster 1024 Live! Soundcard, but ir retails seperately at under £100. I have found the software amazingly powerful and functional, and would highly recommend it to any musician looking at getting started with digital audio recording. The software is very easy to use and comes with a good manual in pdf format. For musicians who want to transform their PC into a music recording system, (but don't have £500 at their disposal!) this software is a must.
