	Steinberg Cubase VST/24 ... Cubase VST / 24 is a very powerful piece of studio quality sequencing software. A lot of professional producers choose Cubase and when you get into it you can see why. Using available VST plug ins its possible to do sooooo much to the sound it is amazing! VST plug ins are available for both intruments and effects meaning recorded sequences (in MIDI for example), can have any sound applied as an instrument and various effects can be applied to the top of that. VST plug ins are available for free from some internet sites although the quality of them can vary, and they are also available in commercial form which are mostly of stunning quality representing vario... 	Steinberg Cubase VST/24 ... power of Cubase is quite immense. Steinberg have bent over backwards to produce a piece of software that really makes working on your music a joy. Visually the program interface is easy on the eye - but it's not dull. The sequencing is excellent, as could be expected (most sequencers are pretty much the same as they all do basically the same thing ie sequence a stream of midi data.) So nothing new there. But added to the wonderful MIDEX 8 interface I now have and the timing is absolutely rock solid. And on to VST. Oh my God. The sheer versatility of this is wonderful. 	Steinberg Cubase VST/24 ... used loads of sequencers before, I thought Cubase would be a cinch. Woah! Read the help files first! After about four hours of crashing my machine, I read the help files and found out why. Tune the buffering to suit your processor and RAM carefully and you will never have a problem with bottlenecks or disk stutter. However, I would not attempt this software on less than a K62-500 with 128Mb RAM and a good speed udma disk with a good graphics card. Ignore the specs on the box The sequencer table detail is very good but loses a lot of clarity when placing long tracks or shrinking bars at >140bpm.
