To beat Macromedia Flash you gotta do better than this!!!!! (SWiSH v2.0)

Advantages: Easier to use than Flash 5, Easier to get used to, "Create flash movies that would normally take hours on Flash 5 in minutes!"

Disadvantages: Few effects, Can only create very simple/limited flash movies, Isn't as comprehensive as Flash 5

SWiSH V2.0 is known throughout the internet as the easier and better(!) alternative to Macromedia Flash 5...don't believe a word of it!!!

The only advantages of SWiSH compared to Flash 5 are:

. Easier to use
. Create flash movies that would take hours on Flash 5 in minutes

Ok this all sounds good but let me tell you about my experience:

I first of all downloaded the free trial of Flash 5 hoping to create excellent site intros etc(like ones I had seen on other professional-looking websites) in seconds only to find myself creating no more than still text, not having a clue what I'm doing. So, naturally, I gave up and went surfing the net and came across an advert for SWiSH V2.0. What caught my eye was "Create excellent Flash movies that would take hours to do on Flash in minutes!".
So I downloaded the free trial and found that it was great...for dummies!

You see its only got a few effects such as blur and none of them can be distributed in your own way.
You see the reason why it is so easy to use is because all the effects it has are done for you - it's just a simple clicking job. But because of this your flash movies will become stupidly limited.
I had gone through all this trouble just because I didn't have the patience to learn how to use Flash 5.

I now create great flash movies (if i do say so myself) and/for websites and have even won a Golden Web Award for one of my sites.

Please, everyone, learn from my mistake and learn how to use Flash. Believe me and all those website designers out there - SWiSH is RUBBiSH!
