Did you ever tried to install, set and run a firewall and by doing this not totally block your internet connection or used up your computers CPU / RAM. If you tried and failed then I have a solution for you - Sygate Personal Firewall. In my life I have only try 4 firewalls. One I don't even remember how it was called, one was Zone Alarm (that is on a second place of my firewall list), and one was something from Norton. And I must tell you Sygate beats them all.
