Big Fix ... Consumer Edition is fantastic. It s easy to use, it gets all the critical MS updates (some Windows Genuine Advantage updates are excluded), including some non-MS updates. It offers high download speeds, a clean and simple interface, and the system tray application does not hog system resources. Best of all, it s free of charge and contains no adware or nag screens! It s simple. You download it, install it, and run it. It automatically searches for updates that are not installed, notably Windows Hotfixes. Iolo System Mechanic 3.5 ... software does it all...checks for spyware, corrects registry entries, finds and deletes duplicate files, checks for system problems, etc, etc. I found it very easy to use and was surprised to find so many functions in one program. It cleans, fixes, maintains, optimizes and protects your system! I would definitely recommend this program for anyone who wants to keep their system running at top performance. Pop-Up Stopper ... downloaded the Panicware ?Pop-Up Stopper? a couple of weeks ago after reading an overwhelmingly positive Dooyoo review, but I soon realised that in many cases it could be more annoying than helpful.
