Advantages: Small download, Combine chat clients

Disadvantages: Crashes, AOl and ICQ problems

Trillian is a great idea and a great program.
Instant messaging has really taken off in recent years with such systems as ICQ, MSN Messenger, AOL Instant Messenger and Yahoo being the main ones. However one problem this has cased for people who like talking (like me) is that it can damage your PC as you have so many things open. Trillian provides the answer.
Trillian is a chat client that lets you combine all four when you simply enter your username and password for each system. It also offers you IRC chatroom capabilities which is very nice. It is a small file to download and the visual looks are stunning. One problem I often had however was that it often crashed, and as ICQ and AOL are owned by the same compnay problems sometimes arose when connecting to those accounts.
Overall though, the program is great and well worth downloading
