Visual Basic 6,What can I say. It's possibly the best Visual Language that Microsoft have released to date. The language it's self (Being a BASIC Derivative) is very easy to get to grips with, catering for either the beginner or the expert. It allows you to develop either very simple applications or (With a bit of knowledge) very advanced Enterprise systems.

Some programmers will rant on, saying that Visual Basic is not as powerful as C. This, I can assure you is NOT the case. Visual basic will let you do just about anything you want.

The Front End is very intuitive and the layout is superb (Microsoft have ruined it with VB.NET) Syntax coding and Intellisense make programming with VB a joy.

On a whole i would recommend Visual Basic 6 to both beginners and experienced programmers alike.
