If you’ve ever tried to learn a new language at home, you may understand that it isn’t exactly easy. Not if you’re aiming to become very fluent anyway! The ‘Teach Yourself’ packs give you enough knowledge to get by on holiday - some set phrases to memorise and enough knowledge of grammar to form sentences, along with a few words - numbers, days, months, etc, but not much extra. ‘Teach yourself’ is a good starting point, but that's all they are - they give you the knowledge to say ‘I like’, ‘I do not like’ and ‘I would like’ but only a couple of examples of each. ‘I like ...
