IBM ViaVoice Millennium Pro:
... is my first viavoice document, I had thought that it would save a great deal of time, and I expect with time it well. Though it does take a great deal of time to set up. I had thought it would be amusing to type, sorry, speak a document and post it as an unadulterated version. Just to see how funny it could be. The trouble is it seems to work rather well. Though it has taken a long time to get this far. I ... Read the full review: Beam me up by Diaz |

It was easy to install and although first results were hilariously surreal I'm planning to enter them in a modern poetry contest once I had persevered with required training I was soon getting recognisable English on-screen. I was able to use programs such as Lotus smart suite and start my ISP completely hands-free. It's not perfect and you need to practise to increase speed of regognition. Dragon NaturallySpeaking Preferred 5.0 ... havebeen using computers for many years, in work and at play. I worked hard and played hard. Eventually it all became too much for me and my body said no. Except I didnt realise that was what it was saying. I just thought I was a good hard worker. Then one morning my hands wouldnt work. They still (1.5 years later ) dont work properly, but I can now at least communicate with people on my computer again, and given the opportunity, I am sure I could work again. I was lucky, I had an online friend who managed an electrical retailer store. He offered to send me a voice recognition software programme of my own choosing. Before this I had looked around but found them e... Read the full review: Unleashing my Dragon by Suedeapple |

IBM ViaVoice Millennium Pro ... introduced to the Via Voice program about 14 months ago. I was having trouble with my hands and it was suggested I try a speak command program. I was told I could use it on the days my hands decided they didn?t want to cooperate with me and use the keyboard at other times. I must say it?s nice to be able to have the choice, as I didn?t want to lose my typing ability which is easy to do when you aren?t using the keyboard on a regular basis. The first thing I was taught was the international alphabet. (Alpha, Bravo, Charlie, Delta and so on). This alphabet (this list comes with the program) is needed to command the program when a word is misunderstood when spoken and m... Read the full review: Speak! by |
