... promised me a 30 day money back guarantee on a bundle of their software, which they nuisance called in order to get me to buy, they refuse to honour this 30 day money back guarantee and then have the gall to offer me yet more software for free, telling me that I would only be offered a credit note for a third of the value anyway. 3Dize Cool Page ... used Cool Page to build my site and I must say that it was easy to use and I was able to build a very nice site but when it comes to tech support the product stinks! They have no semblance of support. They have a FAQ section that is vague at best. They have NO on line support, NO chat support. The only support contact option you have is to e-mail them with your problem. E-mails that fall on deaf ears. If you are a beginner and you need help you are lost. The one and only e-mail reply I received from them when I had a question about using the program was rude and anything but helpful. Macromedia Dreamweaver MX ... is one of the TITANS of Web Site Design programmes, competing only with HOT METAL PRO and a select couple of others. Alas, when something can do just about anything, it takes a whole lot to get it to do the slightest thing. This is not a software package to which you will take like the proverbial duck to water. At first, it will be like sitting in the cockpit of a trans-Atlantic airliner...... Once you have learned the basics, however, you will loose much sleep on successive nights as you are lured to test things out and experiment. Xara WebStyle ... work for a small company and had the job to develop a couple of images which required a little more work than cutting and pasting off the internet or using Microsoft Office Applications such as word or powerpoint. I was horrified that I could not get the images to do what I wanted and was at a dead-end until I came across the xara software whilst doing an on-line search for a farily light-weight graphics program that could export jpeg and gif images which I could then use in any application I preferred whether it be word or in my case powerpoint.
