Winamp - Best Freeware on the net!
I downloaded this player about two month ago because my Windows media player was so annoying. It used up so much of my CPU and memory I just couldnt take it anymore. So I checked online for alternatives and downloaded Winamp.

That was definitely the best choice I could make!
These are the reasons why:

1. low use of resources - compared to WMP Winamp only uses a minimum of your computers resources! That means that the fan is not running constantly and you can actually enjoy listening to your music and your CPU doesnt go through the roof all the time!

2. I like the design. I just think its really cool...

3. ShoutCast Radio - this is an awesome FREE service. There is lots of free online radiostation you can listen to for free. Just type in the style of music you would like to listen to and it comes up with online radio stations which play your kind fo music!
I use this service about five hours a day! brilliant!

4. ShoutCast TV - same with TV stations! You might have some streaming and buffering problems with some stations so you do need a good internet connection but its all for free and some channels really show good stuff! I watch the Family Guy channel almost everynight... and it doesnt cost you a penny!!

So this really is one of the best freeware s around!
The only negative thing I could say about winamp is the fact that it doesn play DVDs, which is a shame. But everything else is perfect and I like this player so much better than WMP!
