Sure Windows 98SE and up have MP3 supprot built in but there's something satisfying about using winamp that simply isn't the same.

The sound output is just about unsurpassed with winamp. Crystal clear.

It might be the support for plugins or it might be the groovy skinnable interface. I'm not quite sure. What I do know is that just about every MP3er that I know has and loves winamp and that's a good enough reason for me to recommend it to you.
