Xara WebStyle

I work for a small company and had the job to develop a couple of images which required a little more work than cutting and pasting off the internet or using Microsoft Office Applications such as word or powerpoint. I was horrified that I could not get the images to do what I wanted and was at a dead-end until I came across the xara software whilst doing an on-line search for a farily light-weight graphics program that could export jpeg and gif images which I could then use in any application I preferred whether it be word or in my case powerpoint. I`ve just upgraded to Xara Webstyle 3, and after spending a few days finding out what makes it any different to Xara Webstyle 2. Apart from the General Interface, I now feel ready to write a review of this product. Now for some people the statement that Graphic Design of Webpages isn`t as easy as it looks is an obvios one, and it is for those people that this product is squarely catering towards. Xara offers very ingeniutive products. I have used some myself, but the majority can be quite expensive, and others are not worth the asking price. Xara offers banners, 3D effect displays, flashy text designs, and other attenhtion-seeking designs, which stick out from the page. They also offer backgrounds, and scrollers , to make your site look more unique. But if you are already conetent with your site or you have other tools, that you have made work for you, why would you need these products instead? A simple answer to that is.. you don't need them.
