Xara WebStyle

Xara Webstyle is a program for creating web graphics in a simple way. I’ve been using the trial version (version 1.2), and I’m still slightly undecided on my opinion of it. It is very easy to use. Once the program is launched there is a menu for choosing what type of item you want to create. Webstyle allows you to create a number of different things for your webpages such as headings, buttons, dividers, bullets, etc. Selecting which type of graphic you want to create is the first of a set of stages, which is how the program works. I work for a small company and had the job to develop a couple of images which required a little more work than cutting and pasting off the internet or using Microsoft Office Applications such as word or powerpoint. I was horrified that I could not get the images to do what I wanted and was at a dead-end until I came across the xara software whilst doing an on-line search for a farily light-weight graphics program that could export jpeg and gif images which I could then use in any application I preferred whether it be word or in my case powerpoint.
