If you like youy music and want it on you computer then this is the program for you. It makes good sounding MP3s very quickly and you can control the size of the files and just aout everything else. If you are connected yto the internet you dont enven have to write out your track titles. I find this program perfect for all my MP3 needs. It is fast reliable and easy to use. The interface is neat with lots of big clear buttons. The help is comprehensive. The only problem is that it hides your ripped music on some romte corner of your program files. Oh this is a lovely piece of ripping software. A gorgeously simplistic interface and amazing speed make this a superb tool for the job. CD title and track title lookup are a nice feature which will save you time when creating titles for MP3 encoding... assuming this is what you're planning to do. Onhand help will take you through any of the tough bits and online help will enhance that further. The speed of your CDROM drive will affect this whole process but so will your PCs speed. Xing's Audio Catalyst includes Audio grabber and Xing's MP3 Encoder. Extremely fast encoder with variable bitrable and high freq range. It is fully graphic driven and extremely easy to use. Includes VBR encoding, CDDB support. The mp3 encoder codec is considered by many industry analysists to be low rate and better ones are meant to be available but I can honestly say I am pleased with its performance the way it is!
