Yahoo Messenger is rather similar to MSN Messenger. It lets you chat live to friends and relatives and make calls and video conferences.

The thing that I like about Yahoo Messenger is that when you insert smilies into your text they are animated and there is a wider range. The actions available are pretty similar to that of MSN Messenger, but with not as many choices for games.

The clever people that make Yahoo Messenger still need to iron out some little problems that still occur when using the program. The problem that I encounter regularly is when the whole thing freezes and signs you out, interrupting your conversation.
I thought that this problem was only happening to me but it seems that others do too.
In other ways it seems to be working ok.

Overall, Yahoo Messenger is quite a good program that does what it's supposed to do.
