... you may require. Setting up the controls, sound and all the rest of the basic options was very easy using this emulator. The emulator itself is well presented with easy to read menus and loads of options. I have tried a rival emulator but I found this one to be much better and so have consequently deleted the old one! Next I needed some games, or ROMs, a search on google.com and I eventually came across a site that had every SNES game imaginable. I began to download these past favourites such as Killer Instinct, Donkey ...more

There are quite a few of these emulators for the snes mainly due to it's sucess abroad. If you used to love the likes of Mario 3 and have long ago thrown away the snes, fera no longer! This piecwe of software turns your PC into a brilliant snes. This is by far the best version of Snes emulator the others just don't have as many features. This makes it possible to use your joystick (or gamepad) and play using it to enhance the experince. Also it allows you to save absolutly any where in a game. And unlike the real Snes there is no restriction on the amount of saves you can store. There are roms (games) for all the classics such as Mario Paperboy etc. If you ...

The latest version has the ability to be able to play roms directly through zip files without having to uncompress them first which is ideal for those short on disk space although this has great adverse affects to performance in gameplay. No emulator could be complete without the ability to save states and Zsnes is no exception. This is one of the most updated and ...

I admit it. I'm new to all this emulation stuff and before I read an opinion on dooyoo (cant remember who it was by) I didn't have much of a clue with what I was doing and how much it worked. So to say I was a novice was really a bit of an understatement. I do however, admittedly, have a good knowledge of computers in general so this assisted me greatly. After reading the dooyoo opinion I went to the site of ZSNes and downloaded the DOS edition of the emulator - easy so far. The download was quick from what I can remember and running the file through WinZip uncovered the emulator itself as well as a few notepad files and all the rest of the stuff you may ...
