I recently used Computer Share Services in Bristol to sell International Shares. Having spoken to them on the phone they assured me that the shares would be sold in a matter of days, but the cheque would take up to 3 weeks. As it was my first time selling shares I agreed with this and as I was going on holidays it would be a nice surprise to receive this cheque on my return. I returned to the UK only to find that no cheque had been sent.
