Research Club Glasgow University is unusual enough in having two student unions, but to top that it also has a postgraduates club. I spend many happy hours there as a postgrad- and if you stay locally you can rejoin once you have completed your course and you may have a haven for life. It's situated in one of the 3 storey buildings on lilybank gardens, ground floor is a bar, the second has a snooker/darts room and a general TV relaxation/Meeting room. The third floor is pretty disused but there are a few rooms up there too.
