Firstly i have placed this review under this category as i could not find a specific one about cricket. I also wrote about Canada since Scotland never qualified.

A lot of people have been laughing to me saying that Canada wont win the world cup or even a game. As i have been saying they will win.

However a few people including myself think that Canada can atleast beat Bangladesh. This seems acheivable and with the odds being 20-1 (only 7-1 with williamhill though) seems worth haveing a small wager on. I must admit i will only be placing about £1 on them to win the cup though each way.

Canada have been placed in a a group which i would say is easiest out the two groups. The other teams in this group are South Africa, Sri Lanka, West Indies, New Zealand, Kenya and Bangladesh. The other group consists of harder teams such as Australia and England. The two teams i belive Canada have a good chance of beating are Bamgladesh and Kenya. The Bangladesh team dont have good enough equipment which is there downfall in this sport. The Canadian team have great equipment and have been playing in very snowy cold weather. This is meant to be a plan by the Canadians and hopefully it pays off. Also the Kenya team aint been playing for a long time so that puts their chances down aswell. The Canadian team has many Universities and national teams playing the sport. Also with many of their players playing in other countries such as England.

After reading this again people will say they wont beat Bangladesh. However theres a chance they will. In the 80's Joe Johnstone won the snooker world championship at 150-1, In the early 90's Phil Taylor won the darts world championship at 150-1, Last years darts champion called David won at 300-1. A few years back in the 5 nations rugby Scotland were the outsiders of all five teams in it. Again they were 100-1 and won it. Even at the soccer world cup in 1998 Croatia had odds of around 100
0-1 at some bookmakers and made it to the semi finals. So like i said there is a chance Canada can atleast win a few games or more!!!
