The job title 'Advertising Account Executive' sounds very impressive. It's a fancy name for a very hard way to make a living. Advertising Executive jobs come in several 'flavours'. There are the 'posh' up market ones in large advertising agencies like Saatchi and Saatchi, or the not so glamourous local paper advertising sales staff variety. Well, I must confess that I spent twenty years as the latter. You need experience to get to the top and there's a glut of experienced Account Executives. The big agencies can take their pick.
