I as most people that read my opinions know work for The London Underground and what a job it is. Working with the public everyday can be very annoying and yes you get lot's of flack especially from the suit's who seem to see us as inferior to themselves,but you do feel really good when you can so easily make somebodys day by helping them out. You may laugh but it really is a great job and here is why - PAY - If you start out as i did as a Station Assistant you start on £17,500 a year To start as a Train Driver £30,000 a year. HOLIDAY - You get 7 weeks a year holiday taken in two week blocks,possibly going up to 8 weeks soon. ...
