I think it is important to look at jobs within the Animal Care industry as well as education. The Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons is a prime example. I have not worked there although I do know a number of people studying at the college currently and they feel the jobs within the sector are good, the course structure is well laid out and easy to understand and they have no regrets about choosing to study at the RCVS.
