This extremely small and compact device adheres to the current Bluetooth 1.1 Specification and has a range of 20 meters (66 Feet). Line of sight is not necessary, the device can be used through walls and floors. In addition to supporting all current standard Bluetooth profiles, this Anycom USB Adapter also supports those new profiles relevant to the Anycom product line. New profiles supported are PAN (Personal Area Network), Headset, and the HCRP (Hard Copy Cable Replacement) for printers. This allows LAN connectivity via Bluetooth to the Anycom LAN Access Point or Bluetooth connectivity to the Anycom WireFree Headset great for listening to music or playing games.
