If you are looking for a computer for all the family, then the iMac is for you. If you're looking for a computer for serious graphics and/or video use, then the iMac is also for you!
The point is that the iMac, like any Apple computer, is extremely easy to set up and use yet offers all the features of a computer that takes a week to set up and buries you in piles of cables!
Don't be deceived by its gorgeous looks. It is a very powerful, fast and useful computer. Also, the fact that it isn't PC compatible shouldn't put you off either - there are many reasonably-priced pieces of software that allow you to run Windows programs if you really want to. You'll probably find, though, that once you've used a Mac, you'll wonder why you ever bothered with any other sort of computer!
