Advantages: Stylish, Easy to use, Compact

Disadvantages: Less software

The imac is a very stylish compact system. It is ideal for those people who like style and practicality. It is a fine machine, the only points that are not clear about the imac or indeed Macs is that the operating system (os9) needs an updater as there have been cases of freezing and crashes. There is also an updator for the DVD player, these programs or patches can be downloaded from the Apple web site which will fix the problem. In my experience when I was online and trying to lower the volume it would freeze and I would have to restart my computer. So if this has happenned to you the downloads will sort it out.
