Advantages: Cool looking, versatile, simple

Disadvantages: Not a PC and eft out by software manufacturers

I've got an i-Mac DV 400mhz. It's tangerine and goes nicely with the terracotta walls in my office. But I got it for more than that reason. It complements my DV camcorder wonderfully. I take a few minutes of video, download it through FireWire straight into I-movie editing suite and keep the bits I like, add a few effects, save it in Quicktime and e-mail it to my mum. I went on the web in seconds. I can run several peripherals at one time with USB connections and can do everything that a PC would let you do. Oh, except use all the great software that's out there. producers seem to forget that there's people out there with macs. My rating - top notch, great if you're into design, but not so cool if you want cheap software.
