The Cisco AS5850 offers high availability features such as hot-swapping on all cards, hot spares, redundant hot-swappable power supplies, redundant switch fabrics, and redundant routers to ensure 99.999-percent availability. Its high density, high availability features and universal port readiness make it ideal for many network deployment architectures, especially co-location environments and high-density points of presence.
