A short review of the Hansol 900D: The Hansol 900D is superb. The picture quality is very nice indeed as the resolution goes as high as 1600x1200! As the screen is 19" across, you can really feel the immense difference between this and a 17" or lower. The colours are very vibrant which chears you up on a rainy day! The moniter was very easy to install as it only has two cables, one to the tower and one to the mains electricity. The moniter is very easy to use and the manual is also very helpful. You can change the following options via the circular disk selector on the moniter case: >Contrast >Brightness >Horizontal Size >Vertical Size >Horizontal Possition >Vertical Possition >Pincushion >Ttapezoid >Parallelogram >Pinbalance >Rotation >Corner Correction >Language >Degauss >Recall >Color-Temp >Zoom >Moire >OSD Virtical Position >OSD Horizontal Position >Video Level >Information There is only one small problem with the moniter, it is rather large! By my reconning it measures: 46cm high 47cm wide 49cm deap Thats 105938cm2!!! Because it is so big, you need quite a large space and it is heavy. If you require a large moniter at a small cost, this could well be the moniter for you.
If you're opting for a new monitor - bigger IS better!! I bought a new computer a while back and it came with a Hansol 19" monitor. For those of you thinking about a new monitor please go for the biggest size possible. This may sound silly to start with and it might be a bit more expensive but it's the monitor that you look at all the time! I had a 15" monitor to start with and after having my Hansol I would NEVER go back!! The enjoyment that I ahve had from this monitor is out of this world. You really have to try it out to believe it!! The Hansol comes with a smart on screen display where you can change the size of the picture, squeeze it, expand it move it up and down, alter the colours slightly and so on. It is a little fiddly to start with but you soon get used to all the arrows at the bottom of the monitor. The colours on screen are excellent. Everyone should have one!
When upgrading my 15" AOC monitor, I was looking for something a lot higher quality without a huge price tag. when wandering around Simply computers site I came across this monitor. It looked ok and was not to bulky. The price was not bad either at £270 inclusive on delivery, so I ordered one. When it arrived I was suprised at how good this monitor was. It is crisp to look at and expands right to the edge of the tube which my 15" did not and the increce in the Hz helped with eye strain. The styling of the monitor is very nice even when compaired to monitors alot more expensive and it is not that heavy. In my opinion this monitor is a good by for those people who do not have the money to spash out on a Iiyama.
I have just bought this wonderful Hansol 900p 19" Monitor. It cost me £250 which for the quality was a very impressive price. It has a maximum Resolution of 1600*1200 @ 75 MHz refresh rate, which tops most Sony and other good makes of monitors of this range. This monitor is by far the best I have had and I have had a lot of good comments about its quality and crisp graphics. This monitor come with a rather quirky OSD (On Screen Display) it is very fiddly to start of with but after you play about with it you begin to get the feel for the control. It is a Plug and play monitor which is very useful to get the maximum performance on desktop programs, however many people slag this monitor down for it's name and are obviously bias towards getting good brand names and are not willing to give less respected brands a chance to prove there performance. I think this monitor is an excellent buy whether you are on a tight budget or a big budget, simply because it looks and performs better than most if not all of the supposed leading edge brands. If you are looking for a 19" monitor I strongly reccomend you to buy this!!! (It will not fail you)
When I ordered my new computer system from Mesh computers I made the decision to invest in a bigger monitor. I ploughed through all the computer magazines and was happy that the Hansol 900P included with this package came well recommended.I was not diappointed. The image on this monitor is miles apart from any other monitor I'd had experience with. I was worried that it may lose its clarity due to the large screen size, but it did not.The increase in monitor size has vastly increased the enjoyment of using the computer with games being especially enhanced. The controls on this monitor are easy to use and very accessible being at the front.A simple press and rotate system allows you to alter many features such as contrast, brightness etc very quickly. We did find that being so close to a large monitor was at first giving us eyestrain, but found a simple reduction in screen brightness alleviated this. The other factor that we did not consider was finding a workstation wide and deep enough to take the monitor. This posed a problem for a while but we eventually got a brilliant corner workstation which fit the monitor perfectly from MFI. I certainly would recommend this monitor.
