I-Data Linkcom EIO Eth 100 w/ AS/400 SCS plus IPDS ... use the printer as a LAN printer and Host printer at the same time. i-data LinkCom EIO PrintServer connects an HP LaserJet 4000, 5000 or 8000 to a LAN providing efficient sharing of a printer between multiple systems, protocols and data streams. LinkCom EIO allows easy migration of IBM Host print jobs directly to the LAN via SNA or TCP/IP.

Since LinkCom EIO is functionally compatible with most known IBM coax and twinax printers no changes to existing applications or additional network software is required. With the addition of an integral IPDS DIMM, LinkCom EIO can be upgraded to provide full AFP/IPDS support. A module is also available to extend the LinkCom EIO functionality to include advanced SCS printing features. LinkCom EIO is easy to install, configure and monitor. The built-in Web-server can be accessed from the desktop with a standard browser. Installation and integration is simple and easy due to predefined print sessions, support of multiple protocols and automatic recognition of installed printer features.
