Warning: I’m not that technical, so this may not be ideal if you’re looking for specifications, etc! I recently gambled on an IBM ThinkPad R50e, Which I’m writing on now, so better be nice or it may crash. Needless to say, I love my ThinkPad. From the colourful display of “IBM” in the corner of my keyboard to the lights at the bottom of the screen telling me my battery is running low, and I’m currently connected to the Internet. laptop computer came to me. I wanted a cheap laptop which wasnt top of the range, but would satisfy all my needs. I was more than pleased with my buy! To start with this laptop looks cool. You hardly notice it in your backpack. It has an Intel Celeron 2 Ghz which isn't too brilliant nowadays but satisfies all my needs of using broadband internet and writing essays and presentations. It has ...

During that time I have resorted to many strange tactics to try and stop the screen turning red every two days. The one i have found to work best is to dangle it by its network lead whilst slapping it gently and chanting 'not today please, i need a break'. Seriously though, this laptop is about as reliable and well built as Virgin trains. It takes on average 2 attempts to boot (even after repair) and the slightest bit of non standard software e.g. an MP3 player, causes it to hang. Robust it is not. My model is fairly ...
