I-GATE is very simple. In essence, your wireless PC network consists of only two components, AccessPoint and MobilePort. Connected to the ISDN port, the AccessPoint is the interface to the outside world and automatically coordinates Internet access (routing). The Mobile-Port is the interface to your PC or notebook. Not only does it send and receive data, it also serves as a terminal within the wireless network. I-GATE makes it possible to operate several networks in parallel. Without ISDN connection or AccessPoint, I-GATE functions as a convenient in-house network.
