RAm is extremely cheap at the moment and the difference it makes to the speed of for computer is well worth the money. I purchased 128Mb of RAm from Crucial Memory for only £15.29 plus p+p over the web and it arrived three days later and it feels like i have a new computer. The companies website has a list of computer manufacters and you click on yours and this bring up system codes. Again you click on your code and this bring up all the available compatable RAM for your machine at trade prices. I have no idea when it comes to computer hardware and this really was RAM made easy.
