General Opinions about Sony MD Players ... year I bough an mp3 player and I took it back the next day cause it was shite. I was told by curry?s that I would play WMA and it didn?t. It connected to your computer via the usb port and it came with software that made it easy to transfer the music to the MD. And you could you long lay so you could fit on 2 times or 4 times the amount that you normally could. The downside is that you can only transfer music back to the same computer and it only allowed you to check out songs 3 times e.g. to 3 different disks and to checkout that same song again... The problem with MP3 is that it is compressed, and can sound a bit funny. If you have a low bit rate, there is a price to pay. I have connected my minidisc to computer via USB, and recording is a doddle, and quick.... Read the full review: It's not versus, it's 'and' by mgoldman |

Sony PlayStation 2 ... I'd like to apologise to all of you hardcore gamers out there - this will not be a fun read for you. Secondly, I'd like to state my regrets in actually buying a PlayStation 2. Finally, before I get into the bulk of this review, I'd loike to point out to anyone reading this that the DVD player is not a good enough reason to buy this system. OK, that's that out of the way, so I guess I'd better justify myself a little. For all you gamers, I'll explain the reason for my apology - the PS2 is little (if at all different) from the original PlayStation (DVD playback excepted). In terms of its' capacities as a games system, the PS2 is a let... Read the full review: Still just another console! by TheDF |
