Aiwa in general: ... This opinion describes the AIWA CSD TD24 rather than Aiwa in General. Sorry, but it doesn’t have a category of its own and it's impossible to get new ones posted these days] ~~~~~~~~~ “I’d like to teach the world to sing, in perfect harmony – I’d like to hold it in my arms….”. Sorry. Radio 2 y’know. Eeek! I’ve turned into my mother! I can reme...

defiler Aiwa in general
... Aiwa XP-MP3 is a mix between a portable CD-player and an MP3-player, since the features of a common CD-player tend to be well known I will mainly mention the MP3 functions. Most common MP3 players tend to use memory cards, the advantage of this player however is that instead of memory cards it uses ordinary writable (or rewritable) CD's. The advantage to using these is fairly obvious, rather than a high cost of 60+ pounds for a simple 16MB card you can buy a typical CD-R with 700MB for around 80p. This means that rather than only being able to store 5 around 5 tracks at once you can instead store up to 512 tracks on a CD, which (depending on the bitrate) is b...

corkin Aiwa in general
... the back of NME magazine, I saw an advert which I simply could not believe.... a portable CD player which plays MP3's on a CD-r!! What that means is that you can have up to 11 (yes, ELEVEN) HOURS of perfect quality CD music playing from MP3's - that means you can make MP3's of all your favourite CD's, burn it onto a blank CD and then play away. It only costs £125 (British) ex. VAT, or £155 including VAT, which I think is very reasonable for something that will play so many hours of music! Although I have not actually bought the player (yet) I contacted the company who's website can be found at www.ntrac.co.uk asking him how long a battery wo...

... bought my Aiwa personal mini disc player about a year ago when it was one of the top of the range playback only md players. The special price i payed - £140 was fairly reasonable. The advantages are the long playback capablilty with a fully recharged battery and a standard AA battery the capability can stretch to around 20 hours. The remote control fitted with the headphones is useful and remains fully functional even for its compact size. A disadvantage is the headphones if buying this player one would need to purchase new headphones as they are both too big and heavy. The player is very small and light compared to some of its competitors. It is much smaller than...
