Remember Beta ?, big boxy machines that weighed a tonne, video shops with 2 formats of tape just to confuse you. We bought a Sony C7 back in 1983 and paid £600 for it, nearly dropped it on the way to the car it was so heavy ! These were the fairly early years for video but the features on this machine were very good, programme search,multi event timer, remote control, tracking control,insert edit.
