I'm a bit heavy handed when it comes to looking after my mobile and it has been dropped on the floor on numerous occassions as well as been left on the roof of a car whilst chatting and forgetting it was there and driving off so it flew onto the road, so my daughter bought me a Bodyglove mobile phone case to keep it protected from scrapes and getting battered about.
It cost her £4 at the towns market as they have a indoor market with a mobile acessory stall inside the building.
You can get then from Ebay for around £5 or online at play.com or other mobile assessory sites for around £6.
The case I have is black material and it have a flip over cover much like a tiny little pocket that you slip your mobile into, it fits snuggley into the pocket and has a press stud fastener to keep your mobile in place.
The front of the cover is a clear plastic material and you can use your mobile through the plastic and press the keys to dial or answer your mobile, it is a strong durable material and has can stretch slightly to fit tightly around your mobile.
You can get other bodyglove covers for different makes of mobiles.
You can still charge your mobile up when this cover is on as it has holes where the charger goes, I don't like to use it all the time but if I am going out without my handbag and I'm just carrying it or keeping it in the pocket of my jeans then I like to put the cover on so that the screen doesn't get scratched or damaged.
I think the material is slightly waterproof as it doesn't seem to get water in the case, but I wouldn't like to drop it in water to find out that it isn't fully waterproof.
I have found that sometimes if you have the mobile in your car on the dash and are driving around on a hot day, the plastic cover can mist over with slight condensation so I don't use it when it's really hot weather when i'm driving the car.
They come in different colours and for different makes which is good for choice and the price is cheap enough to be able to protect your mobile when you need to.
It does protect your mobile really well as I have dropped mine with this on and it hasn't been damaged or scratched so it's worth the money.
If your someone who cares about their appearance of their phone then this is the ultimate stylish phone cover and protector on the market. I paid £12.99 for this groovy cover and I think and it's worth every penny in order to prevent those annoying scratches on your phone in the most street cred way. The producers of this mobile phone cover are also the same company that produce wet suits for the surfers. So the name suggests that you are going to get a decent product for your money, which indeed you do. Unlike the old leather mobile phone covers, this one has actually got some street cred and doesn't make your phone look naff or cheap. It fits snugly over your phone's body. The cover is held on to the phone by a press stud. There is a feature on the back of the cover to clip it to your belt if you wanted that option, but personally I don't use it. I cover my phone up and keep in in my bag. The quality of the cover I think is exceptional and I can see it lasting a long time. The seams of the phone are strong and don't feel that they would come apart very easily. The phone cover material is sort of stretchy so you are guaranteed a snug fit. The front of the cover is clear so you can clearly see the screen and the buttons. It is very easy to use the phone whilst the cover is on and it doesn't reduce the phones usability or the sound of the callers voice. The cover has got holes for the phones main charger and headphone set so you never have to take the cover off. Body Glove produce this cover for all makes of mobile phone so do your phone a favour and dress it up!
Then you'll find these little babies perfect for your mobile. I've had two bodyglove cases now, and I think they're great, because they come in funky colours, look different and more interesting (and smaller) than the normal black leather ones everyone's given free, and really protect your 'phone well. The cases are made predominantly from neoprene, which is "partly" waterproof, I say that because there are holes in the case so you can actually hear who you're talking to (they are definitely splash-proof)! Some of the cases have a plastic screen cover too, but it depends on which style of case you buy, which also depends on what kind of 'phone you have. When I had a Nokia 6110, I bought a black bodyglove case for it, the style is "banana skin", which means that the case encases the back and sides of the 'phone, and the front, which covers (obviously) the front of the 'phone can be peeled off when you make a call. These are peobably best seen rather than going by my description! The only thing I found mildy annoying about these is that you can't see the screen when the case is closed, and the velcro belt clip on the back was superfluous to me, and scagged the neoprene. But all round, it was a good case. I was more adventurous when I bought the case for my 8210. I went blue, but I could have chosen red, yellow, purple, black or pink. This case is similar in style, although 100 times more funky than the previous one I had, as the screen cover is plastic see-through, and the belt clip is a clip, rather than a velcro loop. As the neoprene "hugs" the 'phone, these cases are smaller than those leather ones you see everywhere, which is good. Also, it's easy to remove the 'phone from the case, by undoing a popper on the bottom. It's also easy to plug in your hands free through a hole in the neoprene. But what I like best is the fact th
at if you drop it, it bounces and protects your 'phone really really well. The amount of times I'm clumsy and walk into things with it strapped to my waist, or dropped it on the pavement is astonishing. The 'phone, and the case, remain unharmed. All in all, I'm impressed. ...please ignore some of the answers in which I've rated "average", they are totally irrelevant questions!
