There are millions of cars on the roads of Great Britain today and the motoring trade has become serious business. That of course brings along plenty of other opportunities for equipment and accessory manufacturers. One in particular that stands out is the world of in-car entertainment (ICE if you want to sound like you’re ‘down with the lingo’). ***Please Rate this opinion!!*** Having a father in the motor trade has its advantages.... I have had too many cars to list. When I started driving I had a 957 cc fiesta with a stereo that was complete pants. I soon sorted this with a Blaupunkt Montreal Head Unit (It was cool at the time!) and some 6 x 9's. Every car I've had since I have moved my stereo into, added onto it, and upgraded into the system I have now. This is the cool thing about In Car Entertainment (I.C.E), you need not spend a fortune straight off, just build and add bits as and when you can afford it. No Whafedale, Blaupunkt or Philips in sight, don't get me wrong they make very respectable equipment. But I'm going to talk about real in car entertainment to suit everyone's music taste. Having read some of the other users opinons who all talk about there DIY experience and trips to Halfords, I thought this subject needs someone to talk about real car enterainment systems. Now I do not confess to know everything about ICE, these are just my thoughts and experiences on the subject. If you are just starting out a DIY installation is the way to go.
