Advantages: brilliant picture and sound

Disadvantages: none

If your like me and enjoy a night in with a bottle of wine, a curry from your favourite take-away and a good video then this opinion is right down your street!!

Let me create the scene,

You get home from working all day on a Saturday night, you’re tired and all you want to do is relax.

You decide to have a night in with you other half.

You go to the local off-licence, you’ve ordered your curry and you go and get a good video from the video shop.

You arrive home with said items and you think ‘yes this is going to be a nice night’. You serve up the curry; you pop the cork and put the video in! Sit down and relax ‘O yes you think’.

Then…. you press play and what do you get, a fuzzy picture and the voices of the actors sound like there in a tunnel. B-R-I-L-L-I-A-N-T’ I think not!!!
I have just paid £3.50 for a video that has been rented around two thousand times and is knacked

So you try and watch the movie even though it seems that there is a very heavy snowstorm in your television, you can mess around with the tracking on your video but to no avail.

So the very next day you go back to the video store and’ O know there he is, the part-time Sunday boy\girl suffering from a very bad hangover who does not give a # # # # about you spoilt night in.

Get the scene yet! This is what use to happen to me every weekend and I am sure I am not the only one. Or am I?

THE SOLUTION

Buy yourself a DVD player. I bought one around three months ago and I have never looked back since.

Now when I decide to have a night in it is somewhat different.

I get my wine, my curry and grab myself a DVD, I sit down slot my disc in, wait a couple of seconds and then I get a crystal clear picture, sound as though I am in a cinema and all the extra’s that come with a DVD movie

The extras usually include things like
a directors commentary, the making of the movie and on some DVD’s there are games and alternative endings

This is the first of my opinions about the reason that I bought a DVD.
I will be doing some other opinions shortly about the model that I have bought and also various movies on DVD

So watch this space….
