I have a dvd player in my computer and i dont understand what all the hype is about because the quality is not that much better than any videos i have. Infact the only thing which i think they have improved is that u now need less storage space, and that means very little when a lot of the greatest all time flims are not on dvd. In my opinion its just an excuse for the film industry to earn even more. Also dvd's are alot more likely to get damaged than a tape because they get scratched easily, if you have a decent video player tapes never get screwed up.
