Advantages: Having a mobile phone is an advantage for contact and security also.

Disadvantages: Look closely into the network before connecting with them.

That's basically the idea these days. A few years ago it was like oh my god look at them they've got a mobile phone. It was an amazing development in technology for people to be able to be contacted on a mobile phone. Nowadays though although the novelty is still there you don't realise it as much because everyone's got a mobile. I think it's brilliant how technology has progressed and it keeps improving everyday. I think about a mobile being a safety aid mainly as well, apart from the obvious for people to be able to contact you on the move if you were ever in trouble or an awkward troublesome situation like your car broke down in the middle of nowhere at least with a mobile you can get help with the push of a button. I think they're brilliant but if you haven't got one or perhaps can't afford one it's not like you'll have to look far to get to a phone because millions of people have them so you could always borrow one for a call.

There are many different mobile phones to choose from with are connected to many different phone companies. Take your time when choosing one though because you want to get the best deal. Personally i'd move in favour of Orange because the calls aren't as expensive as other networks and the service is outstanding. My wife has a Motorola CD 930 with Orange on contract and my eldest son has a Nokia 3210 also with Orange on Pay as you go. We've had no problems with Orange on either phone so i can safely say go to Orange. And now phones are even better as with Nokia you can send picture messages and download ringtones and logos from the internet and some mobile phones even have the internet now although the calls are a bit more expensive.
